The Master of Science programme in Public Policy and Human Development (MPP) welcomes highly motivated individuals who are aiming to use public policy to solve real-life problems and are committed to the Sustainable Development Goals. Our students come from various academic and cultural backgrounds and are at various stages of their professional career.

This diversity results in a stimulating blend of country-specific knowledge and individual experience where students learn from their teachers and each other.

The MPP programme is a unique partnership between Maastricht University (UM) and the United Nations University (UNU).
